With Acantus GK the Bachl stud proudly presents an exceptional sport stallion. With his consistent performance, Acantus GK, together with rider Max Kühner, is on the way to prove himself in the professional international arena. His willingness to work, paired with phenomenal jumping ability and excellent ridability can make the demanding challenges of the show jumping course look like child’s play.
Sire Acorado was the superior winner of the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 1997 with a jumping index of 149 points. Through grandsire Acord II, a horse that continually shows up at the top of the German list of estimated breeding values, Acantus GK has a pedigree in a class of its own.
Dam Waldrose is highly successful in international show jumping and has garnered many great successes with permanent rider Florian Mayer zu Hartum, such as winning the Grand Prix of Lisbon or securing second place in the Munich Riders Tour finals.
“A great horse shows you the world” – with Acantus GK’s help, this dream has become reality for rider Max Kühner: Kuala Lumpur, Naples, Aachen are just a few of the stops where he dazzled with good places in the grand prix. With the rankings from World Cup events in Stuttgart, Helsinki, London and Mechelen he was on his way to the World Cup final in Las Vegas, but an injury during transport meant he was unable to compete. With a fifth place in the Riders Tour final in December 2009, Acantus GK is now back on track.
We are awaiting his first offspring in Fasselsberg with excitement.
