Amantus

Expressive, elegant bay stallion and highly successful sport horse, equipped with an impressive pedigree. Amantus’ sire is the Holstein jumper and stud Acord II. The success of his show jumping progeny has once again earned Acord II a place at the top of the breeding list for best German show jumping studs.
■He shares damsire Cor de la Bryère (one of the most important founders of the Holstein lineage after WWII) with the Olympic jumpers from Athens, Fein Cera with Peter Wylde/USA and Eurocommerce Montreal with Wim Schröder.■ Amantus passed his stallion performance test (Hengstleistungsprüfung) in Warendorf as one of the best in his year group, has won countless show jumping trials in classes A-M, and, aged 7, was highly successful in the S class.
■ AMANTUS already has 4 approved sons, including the superior winner of the stallion performance test in Munich, Amantino, who was owned by the Gripshöver family. He has sired numerous state premium mares and his first offspring are already delivering convincing performances in S class events. In 2008, Amantus had a phenomenal foal season in Bavaria. In 2009, he was champion of 4-year old saddle horses as well as champion of 5-year old hunters in Westphalia. In 2010 and 2011 his first progeny took part in the national young stallion championships, achieving good results in S class events.
At the 21.february.2012 Amantus is died. He had a complicated fracture. We are sad loosing Amantus this way.
