August der Dritte FR boasts a performance-oriented top lineage. Sire Argentinus is a top class producer whose breeding results had already turned him into a legend during his own lifetime. Whether in breeding or sport, mare or stallion show, dressage or jumping – Argentinus is omnipresent and crowned by success. There are, for example, Anka under Marcus Ehning or Asti Spumante under Thomas Mühlbauer. Damsire and winner of the stallion performance test Landadel is the superior offspring of that rare stallion Landgraf as shown by his large number of approved sons and numerous international sport horses. August der Dritte FR is full brother to top stallion August der Starke, owned by Sissy Max-Theurer, winner of the Adelheidsdorf stallion performance test and father to Augustin Old, who currently ranks among the top dressage horses of the world after great performances in Munich, Aachen, Donaueschingen and Stuttgart with rider Viktoria Max-Theurer. In Redefin 2010, August der Dritte FR scored 10.0 in temperament, willingness to perform and character. He also achieved five scores of 9.0 and was jumping and reserve winner at the stallion performance test.
