A real gem in our collection with exceptional jumping ability, which duly received top marks of 10.0 from the judges at the 2007 stallion grading (Körung). It was a question of honour – in French ‘Question d’Honneur’ – for owners Patrizia Bachinger and Josef Bachl that this modern and elegant stallion should be available on our stud over the coming years.
Sire Quite Capitol was reserve winner of the Holsteiner Körung in 2001 and is now causing quite a stir in the international show jumping arena. Dam Goldmarie already has one approved son. All her progeny are highly successful show jumpers up to the advanced class S level. The Holstein lineage 7126 that Question d’Honneur B has descended from is now regarded as a benchmark in breeding, and many great stallions, mares and sport horses have come out of this famous bloodline. Among them are Acord I-III, Acrobat I-III, Athletico, Burggraf, Fra Diavolo or Christopher, winner of the national young stallion championship (Bundeschampionat), to name but a few.
His first foal season was impressive and has surpassed all expectations. His offspring stood out at many foal championships, all the way to the German foal championship in Lienen. His foals have also fetched top prices at auction. In 2011 his first offspring have contributed four different winners at four free-jumping championships, and sensationally he was, with Que Amor SB (breeders: Walter and Brigitte Polak, owner: S. Banki), winning stallion at the under-saddle licensing in Marbach. But highlights this year were no doubt 4th place in the youngster tour at the finals of the Munich CSI*** and winning the Grand Prix in Moos**. QDH B is among the best stallions of his year group in Germany and we are proud to have him on our stud again in 2012.
