A real gem in our collection with exceptional jumping ability, which received top marks from the judges at the 2007 stallion licensing (Körung). It was a question of honour – in French ‘Question d’Honneur’ – for owners Patrizia Bachinger and Josef Bachl that this modern and elegant stallion should be available on our stud for the next couple of years. ■ Sire Quite Capitol was reserve winner of the Holstein Körung in 2001 and is now causing quite a stir in the international show jumping arena. Dam Goldmarie already has one approved son. All her progeny are highly successful show jumpers up to the advanced class S level. The Holstein lineage 7126 that Question d’Honneur has descended from, is by now regarded as a benchmark in breeding and many great stallions, mares and sport horses have come out of this famous bloodline. Amongst them are Acord I-III, Acrobat I-III, Athletico, Burggraf, Fra Diavolo or Christopher, winner of the national young stallion championship (Bundeschampionat), to name but a few. ■ His first foal season was impressive and has surpassed all expectations. His offspring stood out at many foal championships, all the way to the German foal championship in Lienen. At auctions his foals also fetched top prices. After a successful breeding season 2008, the crowning glory for ‘QdH’, as he is known in breeding circles, was winning at a jumping event at the end of the year. We are proud and delighted that despite many offers from national and international buyers we can still present ‘QdH’ to our breeders in 2009.
